What the LED base is for

The light sits in the flared base, so it stays outside the body. It does nothing to the vibration and it is not a medical feature — it is a visibility and mood feature, and it is the reason the toy is called Glow.

Using the remote and the button

Glow works two ways. The button on the base cycles the modes when the toy is in your hand, and the wireless remote changes them when you would rather not reach for it. Both are worth learning before use: the button is the fallback when the remote is in a pocket or out of range.

The remote is a separate unit with its own battery, so it does not charge from the toy. Keep it somewhere you can find it — a remote that has slid under a pillow is the most common way these toys end up being used manually.

Insertion and fit

Glow has a broad flared base, which is the single most important feature on any anal toy: it is what stops the device travelling. The base is also where the LED and the button sit, so the parts you need to reach are outside the body by design.

1. Use plenty of water-based lubricant. Silicone toys should not be used with silicone-based lubricant.
2. Go slowly and stop if anything hurts. The widest point is 34–38 mm, which is a moderate size rather than a beginner-minimum one.
3. Insert with the base outside and check it stays outside.
4. Never wear it while sleeping or anywhere you cannot remove it quickly.

How loud it is

Glow is quoted at under about 50 dB, which is quiet enough to be masked by a fan or a closed door but not silent. Small toys are quiet because the motor is small; the LED base adds a hollow cap, and a hollow cap can amplify a little. If discretion matters, a folded towel under the toy interrupts the noise that travels through a bed frame.

Care

Switch off before cleaning. Wipe the body with toy cleaner or mild soap, rinse briefly, and dry completely — especially the charging contacts and the seam around the LED cap — before charging or storage.

Water resistance is limited to brief immersion. Glow can be rinsed, but it should not be soaked, left in a bath, or taken into a shower for a long period. Water inside the base is the most likely way this toy fails.

Store it dry, away from direct sunlight, and separate from other silicone toys.

Safety

Adults only. Keep out of reach of children. Stop immediately if you feel pain, burning, numbness or dizziness, and remove the toy. Do not use it if the silicone is torn or the base has cracked.
